Product changelog
CarTake
Listing photos that always hit the mark
Three improvements to the capture flow and vehicle creation: a more accurate VIN scanner, instant blur warnings and automatic exposure you can still fine-tune from the camera UI.
- Improved VIN scanner: camera-based recognition is significantly more accurate. The code is read and filled in automatically while you create the vehicle, cutting typing time and errors.
- Blur check: if a shot comes out shaky or out of focus, the app flags it right in the preview. No guideline-breaking images get uploaded by mistake—you see the warning, go back to the vehicle, reopen the app and retake the shot on the spot.
- Auto-exposure: while you frame the vehicle the app adjusts exposure for ambient light automatically. If you need a manual tweak, you can change exposure compensation live from the camera interface while you shoot.
Direct impact
Fewer capture errors, more consistent listing photos and less time spent registering each vehicle.
MIA
WhatsApp without trade-offs: Coexistence is here
WhatsApp Coexistence lets you run the WhatsApp Business mobile app and the WhatsApp Cloud API through MIA on the same number. No more picking one over the other: use the app for everyday messaging and MIA for shared inbox and automations—on the same profile.
- One official number: the WhatsApp Business app and the API channel connected to MIA live side by side. You can use both, not one instead of the other.
- Customers see a single WhatsApp contact; your team replies or automates from MIA or from the app, on the same thread.
- Officially supported by Meta—no forced migrations, no unofficial workarounds.
Direct impact
App and API running in parallel: same number, same customer-facing contact, full operational flexibility for your team.
Why these updates matter
Both updates follow the same principle: remove friction from operational workflows. CarTake catches photo errors at the moment of capture, before images are uploaded. MIA with Coexistence removes the forced choice between the app and the platform, so your team works wherever it prefers without losing automations or conversation history.
