Switching between modes follows configured rules: by request type, time, location, or keyword. The team always sees who is replying and can step in at any time.

Why Service loses requests even when the workshop is full

Service requests arrive in bursts: in MIA data, 350 of 620 Service opportunities fall between 8 am and 1 pm, the same window in which advisors hand over and receive vehicles. The phone rings while a customer waits at the desk, and the WhatsApp message stays read but unanswered.

In the 30 days observed from 7 August to 6 September 2026, Service opportunities with a linked first message totaled 624: 362 from voice, 203 from webchat, and 59 from WhatsApp. Phone remains the main after-sales channel, but a third of requests already come through digital channels.

The flow is designed never to present a preference as a confirmed appointment. What is communicated to the customer depends on what calendar and integrations actually allow.

After-sales runs on deadlines: maintenance, inspections, tyre changes, warranty expiry. With MIA outbound campaigns the dealership can import lists from CRM, DMS, or files, segment them, and start one-to-one WhatsApp conversations within collected consents.

When the customer replies, MIA continues the dialogue, collects availability, and moves the contact toward an appointment or handoff. Sending rules, hours, and templates are defined before activation.
